Egmond Plastic’s high-quality operations make a solid quality guarantee and quality control necessary. The Quality Assurance and Quality Control (QA/QC) Departments maintain and guarantee this quality. Egmond Plastic is certified under AS-9100, a qualification which is well above ISO 9001:2000 standards! This certification is awarded by the European Aerospace Supplier Evaluation, abbreviated as EASE. Egmond Plastic is also constantly audited by customers, and so is an ‘Approved Supplier’ for many companies, including Stork Fokker, Be Aerospace, Greene Tweed, AOA, Avibank, Eurocopter, etc.

Quality Assurance
The Quality Assurance (QA) Department is responsible for the implementation and inspection of the procedures approved. The purpose of this is to improve the organisation’s productivity as well as its yield. This check takes place through internal audits. In addition, QA guarantees the quality required by the customer. QA employees have as a result much contact with clients (including through external audits), and this ensures that all supplier agreements are drawn up so that these can be honoured.

Quality Control
The Quality Control (QC) Department carries out random spot checks on plastic products on colour, design and finishes using calibrated measuring tools and product samples. Both approved products and products to be approved are kept in QC, and these samples serve as references for end products. QC employees are well versed in measuring techniques and in reading product designs.
