Successful collaboration with the Hogeschool van Amsterdam for students and our company

At the end of March, Anthony Ramyad, student of the Hogeschool van Amsterdam Aviation, successfully completed his graduation project with the thesis ‘Molding the future of Egmond Plastic’ at our company. We congratulate Anthony on this great achievement! Anthony is not our first successful graduating student and will not be our last if it is […]

Newest addition: 3D printer

We recently got a 3D printer. A wish from our engineer. The 3D printing of clamping molds for our recently purchased CMM and masking molds in the finishing department saves many man hours and therefore also costs. Instead of producing a metal mold and processing it for two to three days in the tool shop, […]

After intensive training in January, the employees involved are now fully engaged on the new measuring machine.

Latest acquisition: 500 ton Krauss Maffei injection molding machine

Recently our company has acquired a virtually new 500 ton, fully hydraulic injection molding machine. Second-hand, but in top condition. And equipped with a robotic arm. Due to the increased demand for medicines and equipment, our company gives priority to customers who are closely involved. Currently, parts for medicine scanners are being produced, with priority, for one of our customers.

Arrival of two new Demag machines

On April 3 Egmond Plastic added two brand new Demag injection molding machines to its machine park. Both equipped with robots.

Newest addition to the machine park

On March 21, 2018 the new 350 ton Sumitomo Demag injection molding machine arrived at Egmond Plastic. This machine is equipped with, among other things, a servo motor, which ensures that we can injection mold very precisely, energy-efficient and almost silently, complex and technical products made of high tech polymers. With the replacement of the […]

Last ‘old generation’ injection molding machine leaves Egmond Plastic

On Monday, March 19, 2018, the last injection molding machine of the ‘old generation’ left the building. This ‘Windsor’ machine, also known as Machine 13, has proven its faithful service for more than four decades, but is now being replaced by the next generation.
