Egmond Plastic's 50th Anniversary and Grand Opening

Egmond Plastic celebrated its 50th anniversary and the opening of its new facility on June 15 and 16, 2018. The official opening was performed by Mr. Dijkman, an Alkmaar city council member, who gave a wonderful speech. Then, with the push of a button by Richard and Nicky Brandwijk, the festivities began amid a loud bang and a shower of confetti.

Friday was “Customers and Suppliers Day,” and Saturday was “Staff and Family Day.” All guests were treated to a lavish barbecue and surprise musical performances by Johnny and the Gangsters of Love and Lange Frans, respectively. A DJ, a saxophonist, and a singer-songwriter rounded out the musical entertainment.  Guided tours were offered of the new offices, conference rooms, cafeteria, employee facilities, and the factory. On Saturday, a variety of activities were also organized for the children. Special thanks to the event agency Day&Nite, which handled the organization and created the festive, atmospheric setting.
