EGMOND PLASTIC VISITS THE 2025 PLASTICS FAIR IN BRABANT
On September 17 and 18, the annual Plastics Fair took place in 's-Hertogenbosch. This is the leading event for the plastics and rubber industry in the Benelux. Every year, a number of Egmond Plastic colleagues visit this fair. As a leading plastic injection molding company, we cannot and will not miss this fair. This year, Daniëlle and Lisa visited the fair on behalf of Egmond Plastic. It was a great opportunity to talk to suppliers in person and catch up on the latest developments in the industry. Especially for Lisa, who has been working in the purchasing department since October. For her, it was a fun and educational way to meet our suppliers in person and get to know them better. A great way to further strengthen relationships.
In addition to talking to familiar faces, they also encountered interesting innovations. These included new applications in the field of quality improvement and the use of 3D printing techniques to support the work at our company. Innovations that could certainly be of value to Egmond Plastic in the future. Among others, they spoke with Anno Visser from Formal Molding, a company that focuses on 3D printing of molds. This technique is currently still used for low-value materials, but offers interesting possibilities for the future. Egmond Plastic does not see 3D printing as a replacement for plastic injection molding, but as a valuable addition that can accelerate testing and development processes.
